Fox Granite strives to make granite installation in your home as seamless as possible. It can be done quickly and easily, thanks to our experienced staff. They’ll guide you through the entire process, from the initial quote to a follow up phone call to ensure you’re satisfied with the end product. Here’s what you can expect when working with Fox Granite:
1. Call us for a free quote
We will set up an appointment to come over to your home to give you a concrete quote. Our trained sales staff always comes prepared with a bunch of samples and pictures to choose your color, sink, and backsplash selections. San Antonio: 210-487-0255
2. Accept the Quote
Once you feel comfortable and ready to commit to the project, we require a 50% deposit when the contract is signed and/or when we come to template.
Within 48 hours of signing up with us, we will contact you to arrange your template. The template takes anywhere between 30 minutes and 1 ½ hours depending on the size of your countertops. We prefer the corrugated plastic method, in which we use 3 inch pieces of plastic, glued together, to make a mold over your existing countertops that’s to cut the granite pieces out.
We take your template, set it on top of the granite slab, and then cut the pieces out. Once cut, your pieces are sent over to the “fabricator.” The fabricator shapes your edge profile using a router and/or grinding stones. He also cuts out the sinks and grinds the roughness of the stone down. Your granite pieces pass one more craftsmen, the polisher. By the time the granite reaches the polisher its shape is permanent; thus, his role is to simply make it smooth and shine.
You’ll receive a call from your salesperson to set up an install appointment, always at your convenience. You only have 2 responsibilities in the install. First, to have everything cleared off from your countertops. Second, to clear out your cabinets and drawers (there can be some dust). Our install crew will take care of the rest, starting with removal of your existing countertops (if you have any), then setting the pieces and the sink in place, and cleaning and sealing up the tops.
6. Follow Up
Your salesperson will stop by or call to confirm your happiness with our work. Your satisfaction is the only thing that matters, which is why we go to great lengths to find out how your experience was.
