Backsplashes, Sinks, and Fox Granite

We are excited about backsplashes and sinks. We get a lot of people on the Internet researching what’s the process, what do we do, what do we not do, and how does this relate to us. Let’s break it down in a nutshell.

We don’t really make money off of sinks or backsplashes, but we can assist you in some way of providing those items for you. However, our job and our business is to install countertops. Anything else we do is just to help you.

So we don’t, for example, just sell you a sink. We’re not a supplier. We don’t make money off of it. So if you were to call me and say, “Hey, Greg. I just want a new sink, not countertops,” I don’t sell those, right? I provide them to our customers. I’m always happy to be a resource, but I’m not going to be the one doing those works as a case-by-case basis outside of countertops.

Now, let’s say you are a customer. You are replacing your countertops, and you want help with both sinks and backsplashes. So what do we do as a company? What do we provide?

Let’s start with sinks. Well, we provide that we stock our stainless steel sinks (undermount only), and granite composite sinks.

As far as tile backsplashes, what you put on the backsplash above the countertops, we are utilizing our relationship with a tile guy, which we’ve had for about five or six years. And he’s done hundreds of jobs for our customers. And we’re passing on his name to you.

Now, there’s a whole system set up in pricing, and he knows how to work with our clients, so he’s definitely trained. It’s not just handing you off on your own. But it basically cuts out my profit. If I have to do it, I’m still calling the same guy. I’m just making one phone call and scheduling him and saying, “Hey, come on Thursday. We install the countertops on Wednesday.” And then now how I have to make my money as a middle man, and then you don’t get to talk to him and utilize his 20 years of experience for questions about materials, trim pieces, you name it.

So we have a breadth of resources that we’re going to form and curate for you in some way or another, but we don’t do those things on their own. And we’re not the ones actually doing those things if it’s even with our countertops. Just want to be clear, I want you guys to have a very good understanding of how to accomplish your goals and understand that we’re the resource as well, and we can help you information-wise with things other than countertops, even if we don’t do the services ourselves.
